Aidan Killian

Aidan Killian is a passion-driven comedian who was working at an American investment bank (Bear Stearns, Tokyo) when he discovered his love for the stage in 2008. Following his calling, he quit banking and started his comedy journey by studying a full-time storytelling course for 4 months at Emerson college in the UK.

After a few years on stage he shared what he had learned by teaching comedy, storytelling and public speaking at The Gaitey School of Acting in Ireland as well as in other countries such as UK, Scotland, St. Korea, Thailand, Japan and Singapore to thousands of people from many fields of life.

As a comedian himself, he has performed his unique comedy style for 7 Edinburgh Fringe Festivals and was a 'Highlight' at Glastonbury Festival 2016/2017. In 2017, he was nominated 'Best Comedian' at the World Fringe in Australia.

In 2018 he set up Singapore's only full time comedy club, The Merry Lion and he also co-owns Asia's largest comedy festival (Magners International Comedy Festival) and co-produces Singapore's Festival of Fun. He is back in Dublin producing comedy events for Dublin Comedy Club and he loves to share this course with people.
